Happy March, sweet friends! The weather is warming up, and I’ve started to feel the itch to shift my house over to spring. Anyone else?
In effort to save money this time of year, I wanted to shop my home and find pieces to refresh my bedroom without breaking the bank. Shopping your home is easy. You simply go around your house and pull items from areas that you are tired of seeing in one particular spot, or in my case, you dive through your many spring bins in the basement and pull things out that you forgot about.
This year’s spring bedroom was inspired by the garland hanging on the headboard. I had used the mix of eucalyptus garland on another mantel this past fall and decided to try it here. Eucalyptus is timelines to me, but I especially love it for spring. The garland was super simple to put together. It is made up of two types of faux eucalyptus garlands from Hobby Lobby. I simply just wrapped them together and ta-da finished!
While almost everything you see here is not new, I did splurge and buy these beautiful faux lavender plants. I just couldn’t resist the potted baskets. I like that they bring a pop of color to the neutral bedroom and look and feel so real!
In 2020, I’ve been keeping spaces simple and functional, so you will see that I carried that idea in this space. Spring is a time for fresh spaces, clean looks, and simplicity. You don’t have to go overboard to refreshing a space or spend a ton of money either. I hope you enjoy this bedroom tour and feel inspired to create a beautiful space in your home this spring.
